The Dual Nature of Man

Wise Old Cherokee ~
One evening, a wise old Cherokee told his grandsonAbout a battle that goes on inside people. He said, 'My son, the battle is betweenTwo 'wolves' inside us all.. One is Evil.It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,Self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,Superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness,Benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. The grandson thought about it for a minuteAnd then asked his grandfather:'Which wolf wins?' The old Cherokee simply replied,'The one you feed.'

Tagged

Tagged by Shelley: 5 quirks about me.
1. I can't handle any rattling noise in my car. I will wack the door or the dash if I hear something rattling inside. If there is something jingling in any of the cup holders or door compartments I will make it stop at any cost.
2. I can't sleep with my feet under the covers. In hotels I pull all of the bedding loose from the bottom of the bed to allow my feet to be uncovered. I have a hard time sleeping in sleeping bags. I almost always unzip them all the way if it isn't too cold.
3. I am a blog stalker. I am obsessed with facebook and myspace. I check my email incessantly.
4. I have a hard time sleeping without a fan blowing. I started using a fan when one of my roommates from college was a loud sleeper. It turned into a habit.
5. I am obsessed with and terrified of Tsunamis / Tidal Waves. While sleeping on the beach in Mexico last summer I was tense the entire night because I conviced myself that a Tsunami was going to come and get us.

Guess what I did today...

I did this same thing but at my house through a door I have walked through hundreds of times. :-)
