You will not be disappointed

My friends and I have become obsessed with Justin Timberlake this past week because of the bumping song Sexy Back.

I also about peed in my pants this week when I was watching SYTYCD and the final number was danced to the Sexy Back. All of my friends were watching the show with me. It was a magical moment to behold.

All this time, I knew that Justin was coming to Vegas on Saturday night and his concert had sold out in 2.5 minutes. Well there was a major announcement on a local radio station on Saturday at noon and it was that the first 200 peeps to get to Best Buy on Flamingo and Maryland would get 2 free tickets to the show. So my friend and I drove like Bats out of you know where and got the tickets. It was a wonderfully magical night. We took two of our girlfriends and were about 15 feet from the stage.

One of the girls I went with decided to commemorate the night the next day at church by printing the program with the following information:

"Special Number Justin Timberlake/Timbaland"
"Go 'Head Be Gone With It"

The Bishop got up and said "We are sorry to announce that Justin Timberlake with not be joining us today for the musical number." It was hilarious. I loved it. I would never have had the guts to do it.

A few things I LOVE about Preston Idaho

1. The magnificent waterfall/river/hike at Willow Flats. During spring run-off it is the most beautiful place on the earth to me. The white water cascades through the mountain valleys with excruciatingly wonderful speed and gradeur. It is the like the great waters described in the following scripture D&C 110: 3 "His eyes were as a flame of fire; the hair of his head was white like the pure snow; his countenance shone above the brightness of the sun; and his voice was as the sound of the rushing of great waters, even the voice of Jehovah, saying:..." 2. Floating down the Bear River in tubes or a raft with my family and friends. I forget EVERY care and can think of no other thing I would rather do while navigating its rapids, eddies, and gentle sections. Every curve of the river is familiar and lifelong memories are created on each trip. 3. The Hart homestead is full of green things. One full acre of green children's bliss many mistake it for a city park.

Oh Man!

As many of you know, I am really good at locking my keys in my car. I was in Idaho this weekend which is where I like to do most of my "accidental locking." I left my house at 4:30 AM to get to Vegas for a temple ordinance at 12:30. I had given myself about 1.5 hrs extra just in case something happen to make me run late. I got gas just before leaving Preston and once again I followed the same pattern as usual and locked my keys in my car. Luckily there is ONE convenience store open in Preston 24 hours so I walked for about 5 minutes and called the police department. (They un-lock cars for free :-)) I had to wait 1.5 hours until an officer could come as none were on duty at 4:30 AM. LUCKILY I made it to Vegas on-time. I cut my record of 7.5 hours from my house to Vegas to 6.75 hours. It was marvelous and I didn't even speed THAT bad :-)
